Chinawhite, the Best Club in London?

We get asked the question ‘Which is the best club in London?‘ all the time.

Whether Chinawhite is the best club in London is open to debate but many clubbers that you ask will say yes and we would probably be hard pushed not to agree with them.

Apart from Chinawhite there is no other nightclub in London that has been such a mainstay of the Celebrity party scene for so long with the possible exception of Studio Valbonne – which was originally launched in the 1980s before closing and relaunching in 2008.

Chinawhite first came to prominence as a popular celebrity nightclub in the late 1990s when it was based on Air Street in Soho. London Parties were involved in promoting the original Chinawhite club – it was a members club and in the days before Forbidden London much harder to gain entry to.

We began working as promoters with Chinawhite in 2006 and it is fair to say some of the best parties we’ve hosted were at the original nightclub.

That incarnation of Chinawhite closed in 2008 before relaunching at a new location in 2009. Since moving from Air Street to Winsley Street (Soho to Fitzrovia) and against all odds, the club has continued to be one of the biggest names in London nightlife. The Chinawhite guestlist has been jam packed with celebrities and has popped up in the gossip columns  more than any other nightclub in London in recent years. As you can always guarantee great music and great people you can definitely say Chinawhite is a great nightclub.

China White in London is also known for its extravagant events, whilst the average club will hold an event at every opportunity, be it a public holiday or any other celebration as a means to bring in the crowds, China White club London does no such thing; instead focusing on a couple of truly exclusive, completely awe inspiring, celebrity packed events like the Cartier Polo.

The Cartier Polo after-party – which, as one can imagine, was nothing less than an opulent affair bustling with A-list celebrities from all over the world – is one of the best social events of the year.
