Went to Merah for the 1st time to celebrate my 21st birthday. My friend had sorted out the guest list through Forbidden London. We got there for 11.30pm. There was a big queue for people who weren’t on the guest list but we must of waited no more than five minutes to get in through the guest list queue. Women on the door was happy, smiling, very welcoming – no probs.
The nightclub was very busy when we got in. Really good service, the waitress was polite and helpful. Music was a pretty commercial mix of funky house and RnB and got everyone up dancing. The club was expensive, like most clubs in London’s West End, but the beautiful crowd and service made it worth it.

Went there on a Friday night, got there early (about 10.30pm). Queue literally did not move until 11pm; by time got to the front it was after midnight and we were told the club was full and we would have to wait for people to leave. After waiting a few minutes, no more, we were finally in and it is fair to say everyone had an amazing night. Will definitely book a table next time as I found out you don’t have to queue with a club table reservation.
