Introducing Mahiki
Mahiki truly brings the tropical, Tiki theme to London in the most magnificent way; from the wicker furniture to the extensive cocktail menu a night here jets you right into holiday mode in some seaside resort somewhere warm. Cocktails range from the more traditional to more adventurous taste bud ticklers, many of which are not served in glasses but in coconuts or pineapples- making it a cocktail lover’s paradise.
Mahiki’s decor adds to the Polynesian atmosphere with colourful Hawaian cushions and Tiki figurines all of which contribute to the feeling of having arrived on a tropical island somewhere exciting. It is also one of those clubs that is frequently visited by a star studded clientele; very often being mentioned in the celebrity columns; this has not made it overly pretentious and Mahiki is still a friendly, relaxed club to visit if you’re looking for a cocktail fun filled night out in the West end.
Mahiki is also a fantastic venue for all types of events be it big or small the party will be tailored to your needs and given that extra twist, making it extra special.

Fab Friday night. Had read reviews and was concerned about the negative comments… however, rolled up at 11.30ish and although the female on the door was a bit sniffy, the queue was short and we went straight in. We were two, over 25 females, but we were dressed well.
Really great music, fab atmosphere and really enjoyed it. Will go again.

Great cocktails and great music!

I had a great time at Mahiki last Thursday. Friendly staff, great drinks. I agree with the comment about the rude door staff, but other than that me and my group loved it.

This is a place to have fun. It’s kitsch and lively. If you are looking for a quiet drink in a refined atmosphere, then go to Claridges. If you are looking for fun and silliness in a relaxed atmosphere, go here.
It’s expensive – to ask 800 quid minimum spend for a table downstairs is cheeky – so stay upstairs, stand or get in early.
The staff are a bit up themselves – though not the guys behind the bars, who are great – so don’t bother with the waitresses. Most importantly, the drinks taste great, look great, are innovative and fun.
