Bond Club

Bond Club
Hits 120

Bond is a new bar/club concept being the most high-tech venue in the whole of London, and the first fully interactive bar in the world.

Bond is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art lighting and bar technology to create a breathtaking backdrop for your night out. Special computer controlled projections will transform the room into a heavenly catwalk show or the fiery pit of hell. All at a flick of a switch.

The projections are also interactive so if you put your hand out to touch them they will react to your movements. Nothing like this has ever been used in a nightclub venue before, and quite simply, you will have to see it to believe it.

The interior is a blank canvas, which can be changed to whatever you want it to be. And in addition to the projections there will be hundreds of LED lights installed which will give the venue over 1,000 different colour combinations, running right across the spectrum.

The bar continues the interactive theme and will be touch sensitive. You put a glass down; the bar will react to it and send out light beams across to the base of our drink. If you touch the bar with your hand light will shoot out towards you and alert the barman that you require a drink.

This is Star Trek and Star Wars all rolled into one, and with waitress service.

Other interior features, such as furnishing are 1970s inspired but brought right up to date with the state-of-the-art 21st century technology.

The whole ethos of the venue is built around the concept of choice and interactivity, and clients and event organisers will be able to select exactly the feel and mood for their night, even down to the colour scheme for the room. Artwork can be chosen to be projected onto the walls as well.

The capacity is 400 with five slightly raised table areas with space to seat 200 comfortably. Table areas will work on a bookings basis on minimum spends will be limited only to weekends.

Founder memberships are being sent out to key people and will never exceed a certain very select number. The membership card itself will be a limited edition and will include the exact number of those printed just like a piece of art.

Embassy London

Embassy London
Hits 168

Ideally located in the heart of Mayfair, Embassy London launched in November 2001 to much acclaim. Named after the infamous 80′s Embassy Club, it is the first of joint ventures between restaurateur, Mark Fuller and celebrated chef, Garry Hollihead.

Set over two floors this venue allows guests to begin their evening in the stylish surroundings of the dining room before descending to the private members bar and club for late night drinking and dancing. A secluded VIP Lounge is also available for guests requiring a little more intimacy, cleverly elevated above the dance floor allowing the atmosphere to filter through.

The newly refurbished private members bar and club is situated on the lower ground floor and provides new levels of opulence and exclusivity for guests. The previous “hedonistic” impression has been replaced with lavish chandeliers and gilt-edged antique mirrors, which adorn the beautiful beige stucco walls.

Rich colours and warm furnishings characterise this charming lounge bar. Low leather tables and tub stools are sporadically spaced throughout the bar and peppered around the dance floor allowing guests to relax, unwind and soak up the clubs atmosphere in style.

Large floor to ceiling mirrors cover the far wall and surround the dance floor giving an increased magnitude and sense of space. Opposite are two strategically placed plasma screens; allowing images to be reflected around the club and creating a soft wash of colour and light. The “state of the art” sound and lighting system showcase an array of effects that compliment the ambience; from early evening “mellow chilled vibes” to late night “high octane house grooves.”

The glass-fronted VIP lounge is perfect for the modern day voyeur, overlooking the dance floor it provides an intimate and private area for guests to relax and socialise with fellow members. Guests may adjust the sound and lighting to suit their mood whilst still experiencing the heady atmosphere of the club. A regular nightspot for the media, fashion and celebrity crowd!
